
Celebrate Mom with a Delicious Sugar-Free Chocolate Pudding
This Mother's Day, treat your mom, your friends, family or yourself with this recipe that is not only delicious, but healthy, because instead of sugar it has dates and almond milk. They are sure to love it!
Ingredients
1/2 cup dates soaked in warm water (5 min. or more)
Almond milk (or other plant-based milk)
1 package of silken tofu
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1-2 dark chocolate bar(s) for melting (put in a double boiler)
Procedure
1. In a food processor or blender, combine the soaked dates (and their soaking liquid), cocoa powder, tofu, and milk. Whisk the ingredients until smooth.
2. Place the mixture in individual containers or a bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
3. Add the melted chocolate and garnish with fruit or chopped walnuts. Let's celebrate!
